Gaye, and her husband Steve are the founders of Friends of Russell and Russell’s Ranch. As a parent of a son on the Autism spectrum Gaye has firsthand experience in the challenges of raising a child in todays everchanging systems and environment… those experiences are the driving force behind the motivation to champion and advocate for those kids in need in her community. Gaye’s goal is to create greater awareness of Autism and support all special needs & autistic individuals, families and people affected.

She has championed many local events to raise funds and create awareness about the growing issue of Autism and provide help & resources for all special needs individuals and their families.

Tami worked professionally in the intellectual/developmental disability field for 18 years. She currently work as the LINKS (Linking Individuals with Needed Knowledge & Supports) Program Coordinator at the Pierce County Coalition for Developmental Disabilities (PC2).

Sue currently is a White River High School Special Education Teacher and has been involved for over 12 years with Special Olympics’ Unified Sports.

Dianne is currently working part time at the Sumner YMCA with the childcare facility and serving as an advocate for the Meisenbach Scholarship Fund and scholar applicants that graduate from White River High School each year.

Dana is currently the Enumclaw Athletic and Activities Secretary & coordinator for Unified Sports at Enumclaw High School striving for a more Unified and Inclusive Environment at Enumclaw High School. Dana is a coach and is involved with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities thru Special Olympics, Recreation and Social Programs and escorts them on activities & trips.
